The Marine Modelers Club of New England began life as a group within the Minuteman Model Yacht Club in Needham, MA. in the early 1960's. Members wanted a new club with a focus on models driven by steam and electric power. They met during a regatta at the Rocky Woods Reservation pond in Medfield MA and formed The Marine Modelers Club of New England.
When water is soft MMCN holds
activities at area ponds and on their new home pond in Millis, MA. When the water freezes they meet every month in Medfield MA.
